    Jap Import

Dealers are forever asking for the vin when ordering parts!!!!!!
as far as i have managed to work out there are very little differances, even less with a US model. apart from the lights/clocks i see nothing more differant...
Whats all the fuss about imports being so different???????????? Ho yes its a XL250r 1982.

Apart from headlamps dipping the wrong way, there are all sorts of variations on bikes destined for different parts of the world.

    Emission requirements

    Noise requirements

    Lighting

    Power Output

    Possibly different tyres

    Different engine oils

    The list could go on!

Stating the VIN helps the dealer no end.
