hi im rebuilding my xl as i have just bought it back ,i had bought stubbows one but when my pal saw it he wanted it ,so he returned my old bike and some cash ,but after seeing one rebuilt i thought i would have a go ,i also need some parts to complete it ,i need the rectangular panel that fits under the twin headlights ,and im wondering what tyers to put on it ,i will be mostly using it on road but i like the look of the nobblies ,some one told me about german tyres but i cant remember the name ,i have new mudguards ans side panels from honda also a new twinheadlight panel on order ,i will post more pics when im rebuilding it .i think you need to go to my album to see tha photos

Agreed I have some on my XR650r, or the original IRC tyres are OK too.

Did you say you had a new headlight panel and some side panels for an XL600LM on order Coldo? I thought all the plastics were unavailable. That would be very good news indeed.

yes i got 1 new side panel from david silver spares £46 ,1 side panel from a member in jersey £40 a set of mudguards from 2 wheels honda in edingburgh £80 and also from them the twin headlight cowel £104 .i had to wait 2 months for the cowel but the guard were there in 2 days

Cheers for that Coldo. David Silver's run out of the new sidepanels now, I should have bought a pair a year ago when he had them in, everyone seems to be looking for them now. I'll check out the Edinburgh shop though for a cowl. Thanks again.
