I took the bike out for a spin once i got it started and it pulled really well once it got going, but still wont idle and start after you stop it.

what do you think i should do now? I have cleaned the carb again, the throttle valve was black so i have cleaned this up and it seems to slide better.

I have check the choke and it does have a rubber at the end of the plunger, but im not sure how to check to see if this is sitting correctly?

    cheers again..!
Jet sizes sounds about right to me hopefully some-one can confirm this.
That choke plunger sits on an opening so maybe assembling with out the cable attached.
Another thing is the float hight, this can make it run rich if to high.
The needle valve can also leak but the carb will over flow with petrol if this is a prob.
Last thing I can think of is an internal crack, uncommon but I have heard of it.

If you have a multimeter check/measure the resistance of the spark plug cap. If it's more than the spec replace it.

Many moons ago I had a problem with my bike. I replaced all sorts of bits on the bike until I read about how plug caps can give problems. I put a new NGK cap on & was surprised how many problems it cured.
