Tankriktning
There are many ways to fix the tank, all depending on how severe the damage is.
One way is to glue special "sticks" on to the surface, apply some mild heat, and then pull on the sticks with a special tool.
Another way is to massage the dent from inside the tank, if the dent is possible to reach with a special lever from the filling hole.
This only works if the dent is a shallow and soft one.
I have done it to a BMW fuel tank, and it took me a long time to get it right
A third possible way is to use airpressure, (or even better, liquid pressure). Plug all holes, and apply air pressure inside the tank through a hole in one of the plugs.
Very mild pressure should be used, and it only works for "soft" large dents without sharp edges. Also in this case mild heat could be needed.
This method should be exercised only by someone that knows what he's doing, since the airpressure could cause more damage than good.
Depending on type and the shape of the tank, the pressure could change the whole shape of the tank!!!
None of the workin methods will restore the dent completely, you would still need to apply some filler and paint to make it completely invisible.
Absolute best way IMHO is to hand over the tank to a proffesional that have all the right tools and the experience.
He would be able to see exactly which method he should use on your specific dent.
