    New here!

Hello all, Carnie here from the U.S. I am getting ready to purchase a 1984 Honda XL250 for about $500 (don't know what that amounts to in your currency) but it seemed like a good deal. They usually go for much more here. It'll be my first actual motorbike. Been mostly on scooters. I plan on doing all the maintenance myself but really only know two strokes so I'm hoping I can put this wealth of knowledge and camaraderie to use. I go to get it next weekend but I'll try and get some pictures up soon.

    Welcome Carnie.
Get some pics up of the old girl. Be interested to see which model though it's not out of the way money for either.

Well I stand corrected. She is an 81 xl250s.

Need to recover the seat and fix the front tire and replace the battery but it's in pretty nice shape.
