1998 Honda Xr400r Valve Clearence Specs.

I need to know the specs for the clearences on the valves. because of lost manual.

Intake - 0.10mm
Exhaust - 0.12mm
+/- - 0.002mm

Yes it is isn't it.

0.12 of an inch is just over 3mm. You could drive a bus through a valve clearance like that.

Where do you get a feeler gauge that small all i seen is .203 - .508mm

They are very tight. I had to go out and get a new set of feeler gauges to do mine.

But just to confirm it is indeed
Intake: 0.10mm (0.004 in)
Exhaust: 0.12mm (0.005 in)
