i've recently completely rebuilt my xr400, since then it's been run twice, the first time i rode it i managed to break the gearshift linkage stopper arm bolt, once replacing the bolt i took it out 4 a test ride and i no longer can select fifth gear! it cycles through neutral, first, second, third and fourth without an issue but then when u try select fifth it doesn't find it, you just find neutral, upon closer inspection into the case you can see that the stopper arm doesn't quite locate into the shifter cam whilst attempting to find fifth gear.
i've already checked that the shifter cam is in the right way up.
if anyone has an idea's, i'm more than happy to hear them!
