    XR650R carb problem

My 2002 XR650R starts and runs lovely, rides nice too, loads of power all the way through with no flat spots at all. the only trouble is, it wont run on choke, even mid choke....

Its got a 175 main jet and a 68s pilot with a drilled open air box and the baffles are removed, also the carb rubber is the bigger one..

any ideas before i take it to a dyno.

    thanks

Just wondering why you would want to run it on choke? Choke is only for starting purposes. If it runs fine without the choke on then basically its correct.

You need to get it on a dyno. Ask for a 'Full choke Setup' gives a nice power boost especially when combined with a powerband, I have a red one for sale for £50 if you're interested? Took it off my 400 as it was too much.
