    Howdy! From the newbie

    Hi all!

Im new to trial riding but have been riding for 2 years now. As my sig will tell you I have just bought a 2001 XR250R with 3400kms on the clock! I will get my greasy mitts on it this Friday evening! Muahaha! I am planning on doing some 'Green Laning' around my area, Chelmsford, Braintree and Brentwood are the best areas near me that I can see on the maps. So if anyone lives round these areas can they recomend some goot lanes? That will be all! here are some pics of my babies, expect more of the XR when I take delivery of it! Enjoy!

    How do.

Welcome, but the SV needs more mud! .

The 250 is the way to play!! I've heard there are some good lanes your way, but haven't made it that far east yet. Let us know what you find!

Cool, I was a bit worried about riding alone and would be nice to have someone show me around and give me some pointers. The bloke im buying the bike off has said he'll be happy to show me some lanes around chelmsford where he rides. There is two or three near me but I'm not 100% they are any good! will find out in a few days though

Welcome to the asylum, I mean forum.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Nice 250. I used to ride around the Brentwood/Billericay/Chelmsford area years ago, we used to ride some nice woodland and farm tracks. My mates who are still there have long since given up dirt bikes so can't say if they are still open.
