Awsome
Can you get bigger tanks for dr400's?![]()
Nice, any long trips planned.![]()
Over Wales at the weekend seeing family and watching the World Enduro Championships but mostly fitted it for stuff like the Cambrian, Hafren, Red Kite rallies etc.
Im bidding on a larger tank for the DRZ as we speak Palmer. Its on Ebay.
Heres my son on the XR
Whats this do Dad?![]()
Depends which model. I got mine (for xr400) from cyclebuy.com in america. It's a 4 gallon clarke tank and cost about £90 new i did get hit on import tax £25. Still over a£100 cheaper than buying an acerbis tank over here. Clarke also do discount tanks were the colours have run in the injection moulding process if they've for instance changed from yellow to blue for the dr you could get a blue tank with a bit of yellow in it but they are heavily discounted. For those go directly to the Clarke homepage

Looks fab with those graphics Rob. The extra range is really good - each day at the Ryedale with no top ups!
.
How does it affect the handling Rob?
Its not that bad as it happens Daz, once to get used to it that is. It does tend to load the front end up a bit more on braking and the likes but you get used to that aswell. My problem is ive got to remove it (after using it all weekend following the WEC in Wales. Extra range was well handy) because at 6 foot 6 with long legs my knees nicely rest where it gets uncomfy, especially on my left leg as thats the one with the most damage. Bit of a bugger really.
So, the tank is up for sale or swap for the smaller IMS tank in red if anyone knows of one.
