    speedo

    my xr250 has no speedo.
anyone know of a cheap way of fixing(theres no drive on the front wheel)
bought a wireless cat eye vectra for a bike but the max distance between speedo and sensor is 70cm, not enough for trail bike, most others Ive looked at are only 60 cm.
can't afford to spend too much

    thanks

    Re: speedo

I knew a load of super moto nutters who had the simple pushbike style speedos, cheap as chips and can be set for a number of options, Time, max speed ect....

    Re: speedo

Do a Sigma Sport, if you're going for the push-bike speedo option. Fit it with a "rear wheel" sensor cable, long enough to reach from the front brake to the handle bars, araldite the magnet to the rotor, set the front wheel size and you're away.

The wireless ones don't work well because of interference from the motor anyway.
