Looking for XR650L

Hi guys,

my name is Nic.

Despite I am not currently ride...only...an Honda(got a '95 Dominator but even something else from the dark site..as you can easly tell from my nickname) I deeply think that when it comes to reliability there are no peers. I had two CBRs (600F and 954RR) and never never had a problem.

Now I need a light, reliable and electric start mono that I can use for enduro during the weekend as well as for long adventure trip once a year (North Africa, South America...).

Apparently this is the only real choice but it is very hard to find in UK.

Will anybody here be able to help me to find a good second hand one or an easy way to import one?

(But there are only 3 or 4 of them in Sweden, all imported and from 1992-1994)

Main market were always US and I think they were avaible there as late as 2007, or possibly 2008.

Spain is another market were one could find a late model XR650L

XR650L is still available new here in Canada as well as the US. Not many available used though as I am also looking for a decent one myself.

I'm also after a XR650L, new if possible. Does anyone know where I can buy one outside the Americas?

I don't mind riding one back from Europe.

I got one with very few miles. Got it from a guy in UK who moved it along with his stuff when he moved to UK from US.

You can look in Australia.

There are two for sale in UK one on the www.sahara-overland.com and the otherone in a shop down in Devon. Look on google.uk only pages from UK XR650L for sale.
