    fork brace

    hi all,iam after a fork brace for my xr 600 97 model any one knows wher i can get one on the web?dose any body uosed them?if yes ane good?will be gratfull for any advice.thanks oren

    never used one meself, but when I used to ride the old pocket rockets these were all the rage, especially the billet ones, if I remember rightly though they were top dollar, might be able to pick one up on the web, but do you really need one?

    hi ther,thanks for replyng.i gut the stook xr front end on and at times it fill a bit strange,it fills like its twistin under hard braking,i herd it once thet the brace can make this beter.oill in the fork is refresh and up to correct level,i do not use air pressure at all thts whte the manual say{use 0 psi}.oren

    Yeah a little bit of flex is okay, on many occasion Ive had to find two trees on the trail and wedge the front wheel in between them to straighten things back up, perhaps that vague feeling might be down to your choice of tyre and not the forks, cant say that I have heard of real flexing of forks whilst braking/riding etc, have a good look at all your nuts and bolts throughout the steering/suspension and make sure that they are all torqued up correctly etc. might just save you some cash.
