    road tyre's xr400

Both tyres have had it and are in need of replacing.
As i will not be able to get off-road for sometime may be not before next winter
I was thinking of putting some road or dual purpose tyres on it and using it for work.
what do people recommend and in what sizes using standard wheels

Bidgestone trailwings are some a guy put on his on Thumpertalk, or met a guy the other day on a KLX 650 that was using Enduro Saharas which he gave praise to for road work

    Re: road tyre's xr400

i've been using TKC 80s for my road work and i am really pleased with them. They work ok on the dirt but crap in really wet off road conditions i find them far better on road no noticeable road noise or vibration from the chunks rear lasts about 3000 mile the front has done about 5000 and is only about 2/3 worn last rear i had was a 120/90 x 18 the one i fitted today is a 140/80 x 18 hoping more rubber = more miles before changing heres some pics
