XR Luggage Rack

Looking for a luggage rack for my xr 250. I know of a rack for sale that fits the xr125 but not sure if it will fit the 250.
Anybody know??

Hi don't know if the 125 rack will fit, But I know that Honda make two types of rack to fit the xr250/400 from 1996> I bought one back in 1997 from Honda in japan, Try david silver spares

I had one for mine off e bay at £45 havent seen them on there for a while mind keep an eye out

i made a small one for my xr , very basic but does the job heres a picy

Heres one i knocked up for my 400 to go camping
The flat bar was donated by the wife's garden chair and the round bar bought in B&Q


First i made the frame


All cold bent


some angle from the chair


welded onto the frame


some more from the chair pre formed perfect for the rack


marking on the bike


welded on


used more of the bar for cross pieces




the rack sprayed and fitted


All Loaded with my camping gear




Not too difficult to make and works really well

if one was to possess your skill and ingenuity i'd agree.as i don't it looks fooking difficult to me.

Very smart Indeed, have to sort my miG out and make two for my 650 one for towing out of the black stuff and one for carrying more petrol.
