    New Bike

Hi all, just bought myself a 2000 model xr650r after yrs on a zx9r on the road. Just come back from trying her out, 5 mile road then trip around very rough hill in mid wales. What a brill bike, but I've got a lot of learning to do off road, only droped it 4 times. But got a huge grin on my face. Power is a bit scary on grass but good fun. What kind of money would a lowering link be as i'm a bit of a short arse, or will I get used to balancing on tip toes? Cheers

don't forget to drop the forks through the yokes a corresponding amount or you'll still find it a pig to ride.
