    XR250 clutch cable adjustment

Not to long ago I changed the cable as it was on its limit of adjustments .

Tother day I put a complete new clutch in and adjusted the cable to the point where there was a bit but no to much left to play with .

After a brief run out it went a bit slack so I adjusted to the point where there is not a lot left to play with .

I can not remember if it was a genuine cable . Any thoughts .

    Re: XR250 clutch cable adjustment

I've just got an old 250 and my cable is like that too? No idea if it's oem or not. It's blue (the cable, the bike is white/ish). My lever is a non honda replacement and I wonder if that's got anything to do with it?
