K-Tech have finished my rear shock and it should be here tomorrow. Cost £147 - needed new internal bladder (whatever that is).

I just hope it is as easy to get everything back together as it was to take apart!!

You shouldn't have any problems refitting it but you should notice a big differnce when riding it. I've cant give them enough credit

    Jason,

When you changes all the bearings etc on the rear suspension did you need to use any special tools? I am thinking maybe I should do as most of the bits are off the bike.

I just clamped a G clamp in the vice put a large socket at the bottom of the g clamp them whatever bearing i wanted to remove i put on top the socket then used a socket the correct size to press the bearing out by winding the G-clamp down. When i wanted to put one in i place the new bearing over the hole where it was to be fitted then put a 5mm aluminium plate across the top of it and again wound the G-glamp down so it would press the bearing in square.

Nothing difficult and no fancy tools and a m6x1 tap to fit grease nipples.

In all fairness most of the bearings that came out were still pretty useable but as i had all new spares waiting to go in i fitted the new ones, the ones that came out i soaked in parafin for a week cleaned them out then re grease them and will keep them for emergencies as they are still useable
