hi every body my 05 650 has damage to the con rod not run short of oil has any one else had the same thing happen

Yeah me.. But mine was xr440, Conrod metal fatigue and over revving, finally let go took the piston and liner with it. Back as a 400 now









What problems do you have???

ouch that must have made hell of a racket i must have caught mine a lot sooner only marked it no good though to far gone

NO noise and no warning. Just pulled out of the petrol station to go for a pracise and it died, didn't want wo start and just rattled when using the kickstart. I knew something was wrong open it up and found that. Got a Hotrods conrod from OFFROAD ONLY £99 then had to get it pressed onto the crank and the bearings wired

very lucky you only going slow i have got fresh engine from the usa need to get it back together and tested before we go to spain trail riding for a week £900 with shipping gives me time to rebuild my motor at ease
