XR400 Side stand

Help please: this 2003 XR I bought does not have a side stand. The braket where it should bolt on is not there. I think it was probably bent or broken off in a previous accident.

As I am using it for Hare and hounds I was not that bothered, but now I think I would like to put a stand on it.

Any ideas? Are there stands that I can somehow bolt on to the frame?

I have seen some that require driill into the swingarm - I dont facy that much.

What about getting a bracket made and weld on where the old one was?
