    need help.cannot bleed front brake

Hi guys.got a problem with my xr125l i cannot get the brake fluid through my system.
i was doin some mods on the bike, took the wheels off to clean and prepare for a new tyre, and tyre grips.whilst they were off i put renthal bar on and lever protectors on,that was as far as i got by the time the Lions 1st test started followed with some stella

got the tyre and grips sorted, after beer which were fine, more luck than judgement lol, went to fit the front wheel and the pads were totally closed, unscrewed the bleeder and removed the lower banjo(dont know why i did this i think the stella was taking effect)prized back the pistons slid the pads back in,fitted the wheel but now i cannot bleed the mofos.

i did get a **** load of air in when the reservoir emptied un noticed by myself

been pumping the lever for hours, even tried using a shringe with rubber tube to try and suck the biotch after pumping and opening the bleeder....
    but nowt....

f@ck its like a novel sorry lol..
was wondering if any1 here had something new i could try
want to go greenlaning sunday.....time is ebbing away
    cheers Kev

Try bleeding the master cylinder first by undoing the pipe,
full res, squeeze the lever then put your finger over where the pipe connects, slowly let the lever out.
Do this a few times and if the master cylindar is in good condition it should soon start pumping fluid through.
Then get someone or some thing to hold the lever in while you reconnect the pipe.
Do the same with the caliper bleed nipple, should get you some fluid flowing.

Easier way is to bleed via the banjo bolt on the master... bleed as per usual but start with the top banjo bolt (without disconnecting anything) get all the air out of the master cylinder... tap the master with a spanner and top of line a bit whilst doing so as it seems to help remove some air.. bleed at that point until you have no air then do the same from the BANJO bolt on the caliper... then do the bleed nipple on the caliper.

It's a long winded way of doing it but if you got a lot of air in the system and no professional tool type device then it should do the trick. I used to stunt ride bikes and have hand brake set ups which were always a bitch to bleed up and doing it this way seemed to do the trick for me. Although saying that 8/10 times a big syringe would do the trick!

BTW if you use a syringe, make sure the levers held in and the reservoir doesnt run dry.

as a commercial fitter I use a squerty oil can with a thumb pump attatched a rubber hose to the end fitting it to the calliper and back bleed the system works on most things inc ABS.

Never had a problem doing these, pump the brake lever 6 times (ish) hold the lever against the handlebars, this creates back pressure and forces the fluid down the line under pressure then crack the bleed nipple and close it again, pump another 6 times or so and repeat it. Do not let the level go to low in the master cylinder or you'll get air back in it. Took me about 40 mins to do the front wheel when i fitted new lines and about 20 to do the rear line as thats alot shorter
