    wet/poor running

    Hi all on the way home today in the rain my xr125l cut out at full thottle when i shut of it work ok limped home blipping the thottle when i had to stop , when i was home blipped the throttle and the it cut out startted it up again and it was running unevern any ideas , coil,ht lead, cdi ,the bike runs ok in the dry....

    Sounds like water either getting in your HT leads or the coil, try some self almalgamating tape on the leads to waterproof them first, could be the quick easy cheap fix.

    cheers of to the diy shop later to get some never thoght about using that stoff , used when i had a dt125 lc/ yz250 lc on the pipes coming from the rad

    got some silesone tape fromdiy shop put on the lead just need some rain now to see if it worked fingers crossed
