Thanks for the reply. Just setting sag with preload, and adjusting the low speed damping (clickers)? to start with, just to see if I can improve things a little, I have seen on the net that it should be around 95-100mm for the rear, is it the same for the front suspension etc. If it was need might look at revalving etc. Thanks Andrew |

yea about 30-33% of the total travel on the rear should be how much it sags with you sitting on it.
On the front ive read that 22-25% sag is ideal but changing that involves taking the forks apart and cutting preload spacers out of some plastic tubing. You can use the racetec calculator to see what springs you should be using if you go down thnat route; Product Search Click you bike, then click fork and shock spring rate calculator. |
