1986 XR250 parts

I need piston and rings and a full gasket set for this bike but cant seem to find any for this specific year of bike.
Is there differences between the 86 and later engines?

My frame number starts with:JH2ME060006*******

Anyone suggest where i can get these parts from?
I just want to make sure i get the right parts...

I'm having the same trouble with a 1988 xr, the thing is, if the demand isn't there then no one wants to make the bits we need.
this is how classics disappear altogether.

I found parts for my 1984 XR 250 RE,so i think you will have ,maybe,some luck.

I'm looking for some 1984 parts my self,witch they tell me Honda doesnt make anymore

Couldn't get the parts anywhere so in the end i give up and went to honda.
Managed to get:
+0.5mm oversize piston + rings
gudgeon ring and clips
1 cylinder head bolt
4x exhaust studs and nuts
Head and base gasket
For £100 quid.

Then paid £35 today for new head bearings.
