    xr600 back end

    hi im thinking of up dateing the looks of my 96 xr600
    now front end is no problem
    but has anyone fitted an upto date rear mud gaurd?
    is there another that will fit from another bike cr maybe?
    i really want my bike to be black but i dont want to paint it plastic paint never lasts n justs ends up looking shabby

    Tried a CRF 450 one on mine,that looked ok,untill I offered up the numberplate,then it just looked wrong

    Took bloody ages to chop it about too....

    As for black plastics,they do list them Stateside.
    Also if your after a black tank,take a look here- HollywoodMX's - Dying a Gas tank Process. No Paint required. - ThumperTalk

    The Dirtbike store also does an MX version of the 600R rear guard.

    as fat as the tank goes i was going to use a cover same as yours i see they do a black 1
    just looking for black plastics stateside now thanks for the info

    thanks for the link i guess at them prices itll have to wait a while but deff gonna have the mx rear gaurd but $60!!!!!!!!!!!

    A company called Cemoto make a CR500 rear guard to fit the XR600. They come in several different colour options as well and they look trick.
    I fitted one to my XR with an under guard LED tail light and licence plate holder and all up it cost AU$133.00. By fitting one of these guards you can do away with the subframe and save some weight.
