    rear wheel

can someone please shed some light.

took the rear wheel off and I now have one washer left. I have looked at the diagrams and they dont show where it should go
Ok so from the clutch side I have spindle, one of those plates for moving the wheel back and forth, swing arm, wheel, rear brake, swing arm, , one of those plates for moving the wheel back and forth, some weird plate, washer, nut. So where does this spare washer go?????? As I have said, looked at the diagrams and that is how it is supposed to be but why have I got a spare washer?. Only had the bike 3 wks, so still getting to know it.

    cheers in advance.

If it's the same as the one under the axle nut then it can't be off the wheel.

Is any of the thread on the axle damaged? If it was, doubling up the washers would allow someone to tighten the axle nut up on a better part of the thread.

Well I've ridden green lanes from here to Bury St Edmunds so they must be about, been a while though.

If you get Ordnance Survey Landranger 168 (Colchester, Halstead & Maldon) plus your local Landranger (155 I think) you'll be able to string enough together to make a day of it.

Also 167 (Chelmsford, Harlow) extends as far north as Thaxted and has a reasonably high concentration of lanes.
