pour a litre in,kick through a number of times with the decomp to prime the oil pump then start the bike.let it tick over for a few moments then pour another litre in.do it carefully in case the oil level hasn't dropped enough in the frame.most oil comes in four litre jugs these days so i just used to get two oil changes out of every jug and couldn't be arse'd with messing around with 100ml's here or there.it makes no difference to be slightly overfilled and if the bike uses a little oil between changes your still going to be okay with regards to level.

if you let the bike drain overnight, clean the filter housing out and lean the bike from side to side in an effort to remove as much of the old oil as possible then it would take the best part of two litres to refill properly anyway.try it and see.
