If its the same as the one from ricky stator you will have 2 100w outputs (two white wires) and 1 50w output the 50w output will be for you indicators stop/tail light and dash lights that is for your DC supply you can use any of the other two outputs to do your headlight which should be AC, you may have to upgrade your AC regulator as well. You can also combine your 100w outputs to give you 1 200w output again an upgraded AC rectifier will be needed good luck been looking at doing this myself now the nights are coming in

    Re: XR stuff stator

    thanks for that
I have combined the whites and connected to the AC side.
but now at tick over the led turn-lights dont run unless the engine is revved

Time to trace all the wiring I think.

    Re: XR stuff stator

Well after checking the bikes wires and switches out all seams ok
I am only getting 4v out of the stator rising to 6v if revved
Will put old stator back in a see.

No instructions with the new stator?
Sounds like you've got something wired wrong or your regs upsetting things?

    Re: XR stuff stator

    Hi
Never got any instructions I e-mailed xr-stuff and the makers.
Electrical parts for motorcycles - regulator rectifiers generators stators ignition coils lighting coils ht & pulse coils cdi units starter motors rotors
    But never got any replies

I could not get it to work as a 200w stator this may be due to the regulator not being able to cope but XR stuff did advise that it was not needed.

The stator was as per you're drawing and worked with one 100w coil connected but gave poor light at tickover and if you connected them both you only got half power.

One way to get it to work you would need to use another regulator this would give you 2x100w supplies one that could be used for the dip and one for main.

As I did not want to buy another regulator I rewound the original stator using.

    All-OffRoad - Dirt Bikes - XR600R Magneto Rewind

And good old e-bay for the wire

i now have a up rated light thats white evan at tick over.

    Re: XR stuff stator

Oh s**t i wish i read this earlier ordered one from xr stuff today they did say you could use your stock regulator on the 100w supply and need another one if your going to use the other 100w output just so happens i have a spare ac regulator they also said it comes with full installation instructions I do want to use the 100w outputs separately
Did you send it back to xr stuff and get a refund if you did i hope they dont send me the one you sent back
