    Rear Wheel spacer,s xr250

Guys just a quick one (Wahey!!!)
The rear wheel spacers on an xr250r 1999, one is big one is small, now i,m bloody positive Ive got mine round the right way Ie big one on the sprocket side and small one on the disc side, but for some reason I,m also thinking Ive got them round the wrong way.
On the sprocket side I seem to have quite alot of open area between the spacer and the dust cover for the bearing.
Now Ive owned this bike for ten years now and done all the maintenence on her myself so I feel kinda dumb for asking for assitance on what is a really simple task.
Cheers all will reply to answers, sarcasm welcomed!!!!!

I don't think the rear wheel will fit in properly if you get these spacers mixed up.
The seal can get pushed in towards the bearing making it seem like there is more space.
If these spacers get corroded and/or worn, like mine, (meaning the bearing dust seals don't seal out water from the bearings) you can get stainless upgraded ones made by 'All Balls' from 'Off Road Only', for front and rear, which are excellent. They also make bearing kits for head bearings, suspension etc for all off road bikes.

    Re: Rear Wheel spacer,s xr250

Cheers XMAN, was a really bone question, I had them the right way around, just rushing a simple chain adjustment, even had snags with the rear wheel getting stuck on the bike lift cos the bike had moved forward on it causing the back wheel to foul it, then having me look everywhere for what I thought was a major snag stopping the rear wheel turning.
Just one of those days I reckon.
    Cheers for the reply dude.
