What did you find when you typed "XR400 lowering link" into Google![]()
XL650VY - TKC80's, Mivv Suono "silencer", Arrow Headers, PAIR system removed, 125 mains, Renthal 677 bars, MRA Vario Screen, Scottoiler, Honda Main Stand, Daytona Heated Grips, Sparkbright Charge Monitor
Thanks; did this anyway, but was after some recommendations/ advice from forum users from their experience.

It wasn't unhelpful at all. He asked where to buy one. The reply I gave had all the info necessary to find what he wanted - complete with a winking smiley(guess you missed that - hence your two 'Mad' smileys
). I know it had enough info because I checked first rather than just blindly saying "try Google".
Link one on Google.co.uk is a link to this forum with a great thread all about XR lowering links (also available via a search on this site). Link two is another link to this forum further along in the same thread. Link three is Talon Engineering - who manufacture and sell a lowering link.
Job done. Not at all unhelpful ????
Now, I wasn't aware that sport wanted opinions, advice or experience as that wasn't requested. I am sorry my psychic abilities were not up to scratch on this occasion
By the way, welcome to the site sport![]()

I got mine from 'XR Stuff', they advertise in TBM magazine.
I deliberated over getting one for years, I wish I hadn't.
It has really made the bike.
Together with dropping the forx in the yokes, it feels a much more compact and more manageable package now. I am 5' 9".
Bear in mind I ride it in Hare & Hound, enduro's, trail riding, and even the odd MX, by just dialing in the suspension clickers you can find a setting to suit. (Fully wound in for MX!!!)
The linkage is quite expensive at close to £100 but if you are about to service the rear suspension anyway, it comes complete with bearings and grease nipples so you never have to have it apart again.
WARNING. I set my sag with rider aboard at about 100mm by adjusting the rear spring platform. If you have it any lower, you may have to shorten the sidestand!
Thanks guys, got there in the end. Just need to save some cash now.
Don't forget to post back here when you do get one and let us know how it goes. Which one are you going for then?
