XR 250 Exhaust

Went to make the exhaust mod mentioned in this forum, only to find the baffle is welded in!! I take it the drilling mod cannot be done in this instance?

Not so much interested in raising the noise level (like it quiet) that way you don't attract attention. Just wanted to see if it might improve the performance a little.

Try un-doing/drilling the grub screw out, bin the whole rear baffle and spark arrester and fit the VW beetle tail pipe as mentioned in one of the posts. Fits a treat, costs a pittance, looks the biz and should let the engine breath better. (Sorry ran out adjectives).
