broken kickstart

hi guys
i was out on the xr the other day and the lower kickstart assembly broke this is the part that goes on the spline anyone know where i can buy one from Honda uk reckon the earliest they can get one for me is end of march ,thats crap .
i was very lucky really ,i was in the middle of nowwhere and thankfully my mate on a wr 250 had a rope and towed me up the back of butser hill i would have been well stuffed if id been on my own a valueble lesson learnt .definatly something to be said for a dual start bike if one goes at least you have another starting system to fall back on any way my bikes an xr250 r 99

any offroad shop should sell kickstarters failing that get one from honda, couldn't you bumpstart the bike going tdown the hill you would only have had to push it up th ehill a little way

no i couldnt bump the bike slippery chalk, mud ,snow .ive tried david silver ETA 19th march although they said there is a good chance it could be earlier ,honda uk end of march i cant believe it im going to see if i can get it welded

hi i have an xr600 1 and a dominator kickstart if they fit you can have 1 for cheaps

thanks for the link ive tried them ,no go ,thats how i broke the kick start got bogged down in snow ,stalled it and broke the kickstart trying to start the bike again couldnt believe it .

just had a look on the net the xr 600 kickstart looks very similar to mine wether theshaft is the same size i cant see, an xr 250 is 18mm if yours is 18 mm il have it
