    XR 400 suspension/guard

Anyone know where I can get a new plastic guard for the rear suspension as my tyre has eaten the old one.

David Silver Spares as well. They are often cheaper than a main dealer.

    Re: XR 400 suspension/guard

Problem I found was that with an oversized rear tyre it caught the guard when going backwards and ruined it, I trimmed mine back with a knife then pop riveted a rubber strip to the bottom to extend it back to normal length. Due to is still being close to the tyre I warmed the top part of the guard with a heat gun and bent it back slightly, flattening the angle slightly, now it misses and is touching the shock linkage rather than being away from it, now it never catches.
