    Ebay XR650L

    Anyone seen this

    Honda xr650L 2007 01509 414641 leicestershire on eBay (end time 21-Feb-10 19:27:40 GMT)

A grey import, odd sticker on the front fork pic, why a nwe V5?

Any idea what the asking price of these should be around?

    Cheers

    Greg

The reason for the new V5 would be because they changed them recently and it may have been exchanged for the new type, as they all should have been.

it's a mint bike but they are over priced for what they are ( XR600 with a dommi engine fitted ) but they are a good solid bike and worth having when the price is right...
we were importing these in 06 new and the price if memory serves me was about £3899 or £3999 ? might be confusing it with the XR650R's we had at the time ?
will check tomorrow when i'm back in work...

    Re: Ebay XR650L

I purchased the same bike from the USA (I live in The Gambia). The logo is right, the model has changed little in the last couple of years. They are brilliant but can be improved by the addition of a few goodies - hot cam, rejetting, decent airfilter, exhaust etc.
As for the price, mine cost $6500 including all the dealer charges so this looks a tad expensive. having said that there were shipping charges etc BUT if it has been used then pay much less than present asking price.

For £4500,you are going to have the choice of some very good bikes.
You can get a 525 EXC for that money and tbh I know which one's the better bike......
