morning everyone.im just in the middle of restoring my 85 xr 600 (arguably the prettiest of the xr,s)and have a bit of a puzzle,just blasted and painted the r/h footpeg and im wondering where the spring fits which keeps the peg down/had a gander at my 600 dakar to compare and on that there is enough room to fit the spring in between peg and bracket.on the xr the end of the peg is a tight fit as it slots into the bracket so where does the spring fit?it doesnt help that the spring is missing so i dont know what shape it is.can someone be so kind and have a look at a similar year xr 600 and put me out of my misery cheers mark
