Honda XR400 take a quick mud bath...

    hi all,

i went out today with a couple of guys from the local Trail Rider fellowship and we had great fun,

    the best bit:
me falling into a puddle with the XR on top of me! it is too comical..as we both rode this very watery and muddy section near somewhere the other side of the A33 without any incident already -Then I asked my friend if maybe this is good spot for a picture or an action video....ACTION we got! from me being very wet....but see for yourselves...

here just before i rode back into the water bit

    and here the aftershot

but here i the best bit!!! with running commentary...check out the video

bike is now cleaned again and i am starting to dry too.

great ride and i think everyone discovered some new lanes...

    Thanks
    Lars

......what make of hand-protector are you using on your bike and do they give good lever protection? The ones I have are next to useless in spills.

I used the UFO plastics ones on my bike with the steel bar running through them. The UFO ones are about £20-30 cheaper than all the other brands and are the same quality. Polisport ones are very good aswell and so are the acerbis ones but again you pay more for them

I have Zeta ones on mine with a steel bar too......taken a severe hammering and still ok......no broken levers yet. A mate bought Acerbis ones , very nice but nearly twice the price of mine.....
