    XR250R 85-87 RVFC Engine

    Hi,

I'm re-building an XL250R with the RVFC engine. Trying to get hold of bits, and noticed that some of the part numbers are the same for the XR engine. Is this correct, is the RVFC engine for the XR250 the same?

    Dave

I would say that if the part numbers are the same between the two bikes then it would be safe to say that many other parts may well be compatible.

The cylinder heads are the same except for one big thing; the inlet ports on the XL RFVC head are smaller then the inlet ports on the XR RFVC head.
