    What a Peach.

I've always thought the WR 250 was miles better than the 450 for relaxed usable riding. Today I rode my mates 450 and directly after rode the Honda XR250 R-2, this one - what a contrast, what suspension, what a bike !

I'd say this bike is a better bike for Trails/green lanes than any other bike out there. What a peach. I'm so tempted ( this one is too pricey at £2700) Iv'e seen them new in Sarf Ifrica at 40000 rand (Tornado 250,but still sweet). Mmmmmm, how can I import one ?????

    What about the new CRF250L?
    Could that be of interest?

"Only" 4 500 euro in Sweden- Should be even less in the U.K.

Yes Phil, 450 probably the best bike for a bloke that can handle/manage it at speed ! I suppose I should have put the choice more in context with my age. I no longer have the stamina or strength for bikes like the WD's or CRFX's. So for an old boy, with the XR250. I could at least see a whole day on the trails without getting totally farked .

    Re: What a Peach.

I agree sometime Nick... the best bike for Wales is still an XR400.. just wish they had the button for us old duffers with bad knees. I rekon the new CRF 250 L could be a goody if its lightened down, much on par with the WR250R Although you need wonga to have one and for all that money it will do nothing better than a 1500 quid bike

Nice bike. I turned my back for a few weeks and Honda seem to have launched a few nice bikes......
I had alook round the Honda Peterborough yesterday and it looked to me that they have rejoined the bike maker game....
