Is it just me, or do all the photos of the new Teneres look like the top half of the headlight/fairing has been photoshopped onto the bottom half in an "outline.. copy... slide upwards a bit... paste" kind of way?

the pics in MoreCrapthanNews are their own mock-ups,so the real bike may be very different to that.

when i saw the photo this morning i was surprised,i did'nt really think yamaha would bring out a super ten and certainly not one that looked the dogs bollox more like varadero with yamaha badges
i had visions of buying one next year,my colleague at work was saying the same,i had visions of honda bringing out a new @ to compete against it
next year would be a great year....

well just had a quick search on google and it seems most yamaha/trail owners clubs ( including here ) are talking about it but using the MCN photo as a reference
one forum say the bikes are being tested around the alps near italy and in sweden for extreme weather testing
so if anyones going on holiday,keep your eyes open and camera ready
you just might see one

The MCN pic is a bit misleading....

yes bikes have been built, they were proto'd at Yamaha's plant in Italy that builds the MT04... although still shrouded in secrecy its known the test bikes are being 'trucked' out of the area to test each day but as former R&D vehicle test driver I can guarantee they will be very much 'camouflaged' and may well not look like an XTZ at all!!

anyway more to be revealed tomorrow.

I really hope they build another great bike,And one that the average jo can afford.I'm bored with tuetonic efficiancy, i want to see some bikes that make you want to ride over mountains!!!
