Who saw the picture of the 2009 XTZ1200 in MCN today, looks very nice. Looks like BMW may have a bit of competition coming up given the probably price difference!!

at least build something that looks half decent.

Apparently there is a new KTM Adv on the way too, 1150/1190/1200.

Had a quick look at MCN while in a shop today (I won't pay money for it!). It said the picture is MCN's own mock up and no official pics had been released yet.

Also, in an editorial, they wondered why Honda hadn't produced an updated adventure trailie yet.

We all know Honda are saying the @ is dead but if all the other firms are bringing out adv bikes then it is possible that Honda will wait and see the competition before committing to a new bike.
Unless they already have one in development, maybe they will resurrect the Africa Twin name in the future, only Honda R&D know for sure.

There is a 1190 i belive, will be out may time next year.
Came from the horse's mouth at our KTM dealer, it will have the lc8 super bike lump in it i think.

The write up said they are already testing it out of Yamaha's headquarters in italy, in Milan. They say it closely resembles the 600 Tenere with similar styling, same headlight etc. It should unveiled at the Milan show then on sale early 2009.
