Spoke to my local dealer on Thursday about a test ride on the new XT Tenere. Can't get one infact the dealer can't get one they had one assigned as a demonstrator and it's sold they can't get any more either.
Yamaha are only bringing 150 into the uk this year and they are are accounted for so i was told, a huge amount of stupidity from yamaha me thinks. I recon these thing would sell like hot cakes just on there looks

The 660 tenere will be out in numbers just in time for the 1200 tenere to make an apperance

no one's going to put a demo on when there's a shortage of bikes
most yamaha dealers have now sold there entire allocation for the year
local lads i deal with have 2 available for august delivery 1 white and 1 black

had the 08 tenere for the last 3 days , so far find the bike can go every where my wr 450/ ktm 530 excr gets me with out any problems
20 mile enduro loop/forestry fire breaks etc ), on road bike gets a bit vibey over 80 mph ,every single i,ve owned has been the same on the road. however the bike is well worth the the price tag all day long.
