Anyone got any experience with one. I have picked one up for my dad which is only 07 but sat outside for most of a year and not used as the guy lost his licence. I got it going and put a new battery in but the digital speedo is not working. Power gets to it and the idiot lights work but the only thing on the LCD display is a message flashing up. Is there a reset anywhere?

Have you tried talking it off and putting it in the airing cupboard for a couple of days to dry out, if it has been left outside the damp may have got in

Re: xt125r

Thanks, but no, its not damp. I spoke to a yamaha dealer mechanic and he has told me something to try. What he did tell me though is that it is under warranty still so if i can't fix it then they will have to!
