just had its 9000 mile oil and filter change and so far so good. so far I have replaced the rear tyre at 7500 miles and the rear pads at 8000 miles and adjusted the chain twice..... i also got the exhausts fitted, makes it a little bit louder(!!!!) but pulls much better from low down.
yeti, if your mate can wait this one will be for sale once its 2 years old for about £2k..... might have a few miles on it by then though...![]()
Caffrey - The greatest dog in the world.
bit of an update, replaced the front tyre at 10,000 miles and I carried out the 12,000 mile service done just before I went to Germany which was basically changing the oil, oil filter, spark plug and air filter. I didnt bother with the valves as it was running fine and starting on the button. checked and adjusted the chain which is still good. I've starting filling the scotoiler with old engine oil to see if it works, its on the maximum setting before the prime setting.
today I'm doing the 15,000 mile oil and filter change and checking the (original) front pads to see if they are near the wear limit. rear tyre is fairly worn but should get 10,000 miles out of it - which is the most I've ever got out of a rear!!!!!! no problems so far. (seat is still crap though.....)

Hi,
My Dad has recently bought one exactly the same...
Yes they are much slower than what the tiger would have been, although there better offroad better fuel consumpion better for doing big miles, if your not in a race...
Many advantages with this bike...
Thanks
David
