No pic, sorry, but can anyone suggest what lithe light supermoto bike parked next to my lardy V-strom today?

Not tall, narrow hard long seat, Yamaha engine logo, rhs exhaust, single watercooled engine, most black colour paint/plastics, totally illegible graphics, modern "stealth" appearance, 2004 plate?

I'm looking for a small jap/bmw supermoto, hence it might well fit the bill. Frustratingly, I didnt have a camera with me, but can anyone suggest what it is? I've been assuming it might be a 250 or 450, but cant find a black/charcoal one on the web.

no, thanks guys for the suggestions, but I'm sure its a yamaha. this isnt meant to be a trick question, but I cannot work out which model yamaha it is/was- far smaller/skinnier than an xt660, definitely supermoto. it may be a grey import of course.

was there a black street version of the competition 450/250 range 5 years ago?

As Mel said. not a trick answer CCM dont make their own engines they used to use Rotax dont know about Yam engines but they fit the bill

yep they had a yam motor.....wouldn't class them as Light and Lithe though
