Parts price list
Can anyone please give me a link to the current price list for yamaha parts for the XT600E? Not service parts but bodywork, plastics etc.
I have the parts list but not prices. Or are the prices only available to dealers?

prices go up and down like a yo-yo (mostly up!) so a definative list wont be up to date very long.
if its plastics your after your in for a shock. when first got my XT it needed the front tank scoop bits for both sides (would be 'rad scoops' on a water cooled bike) and they were £69 per side, 10 years ago. luckily they are easy to make, i made carbon fibre ones, a mate made his by heat forming polycarbonate/perspex sheet. new parts crop up on fleabay quite often, but it would take a long time to build up a whole bikes worth in the right colour.

Most of what I have ordered so far has been replacement screws, bolts, nuts, washers and gaskets that have corroded and rusted.
Found a good company that delivers next day. It's just nice to have the prices in front of me when I quote the part numbers. Espeically if some things are a ridiculous price I then improvise.

I had same problem as you last year. Best I found in terms of showing you the prices was these guys in the netherlands - couldn't find anything in Uk.
Honda Motorcycle Parts, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Motorcycle Parts - ATV, Classic Bike, Dirt Bike Parts I ordered some stuff from them. V good service... Cheers Andy

the cms website is a good guide, however be carefull some of their prices can be wildly out, they also just buy from a dealer so your paying for not one but to lots of profit on some parts!!
use the site for part numbers and then ring Fowlers of Bristol (the UK's leading yammy mail order supplier) for a quote.

thats not bad - the two front fairing panels for my 1989 super tenere were £1400 !!!!!! I got dream machine to repair and repaint the whole bike for £800....
