    TDM's are a good reliable bike, buy a Haynes manual, service the thing and it'll be fine. I had a Mk1 850 and it never gave me any bother...



    As AFK said, the spark plugs are possibly a little difficult to get to, but as Chad says, nowhere near as bad as an AT - and ther are only two of 'em, unlike the AT, so changing them really isn't a huge issue.

    If you haven't already, you might want to check out the TDM forum http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ for lots of informed opinion about the strengths and weaknesses of the bike.
