    tdm 850

    Hi guys and girls, my 1st post so be gentle, i'm soon to be the new owner of a 96 tdm 850, is there any things i should be looking out for, i've not had an ADV bike before more used to sports and vtwin hondas so any info will be appreciated.

    that was interesting reading, also found a review site that gave nothing but good reviews on them.

    My mate had one years ago he put a dyno jet kit on it and progressive frok spring and reconed he was getting over 50mpg out of it and the suspension was much better. Checking oil level can be tricky as they are dry sump engine tank is under the seat if i remember correctly

    Well picked her up today 150 mile ride home and she didn't miss a beat, well pleased.

    waikt tae ye need to change the spark plugs,, thats when the fun really begins.... also prone fur the rectifier tae actually burn an catch fire....mines did...watch out....an they can easily flood an they jist wont start after that...
