Hepco & Becker Pannier Racks for the RD02

The Hepco & Becker pannier racks for the RD02 NX650 Dominator (1988-1994) come in five pieces:

The two parts marked 'A' are the connectors between the pannier hoops and the pillion footrest mounts.

Part 'B' is the cross-piece that links the two pannier hoops.

Parts 'C' and 'D' are the two pannier hoops (these are sided and include deflectory plates for the standard dual exhaust silencers)

Pack 'E' holds the various nuts and bolts to fit the pannier racks, plus new extension straps for the rear indicators.

The pillion footpeg connector straps use the rear mounting point thus:

The pannier hoops themselves attach using the two tubes that come out of the top of the hoop. The forward mounts to the outside of the exhaust mount:

The rear mount attaches to the rear top rack mount, but inside the fairing as seen in the lightened photograph below:

The cross-piece (part 'B' from the first photo) attaches to both hoops with 2 bolts per side, and then a screw into the plastic mudguard in the middle:

As can be seen by the final photograph, with a non-standard Laser Pro-Duro exhaust, the right-hand cross-piece mounting plate has to be clearanced slightly - this wouldn't be a problem with factory silencers.
