After a bit of a stressful few days we finally made it to Gavarnie. 5th gear on the motorhome gave up the ghost. Here's a couple o piccys. Dont blame me for the colour of the harness as it was picked out by the good lady Bill.

Has anyone tried this screen? If so, any opinons for the taller rider?
It's this one:
X-creen Adjustable Motorcycle Touring Screen
Honda XL700V Transalp 2008 Onwards Adjustable Motorcycle Touring Screens
(it's NOT the "vario" screen, it's the taller one)
A few of you have been following my thread regarding having my wheels rebuilt by central wheels and the wheel being badly built and them blaming me etc etc.
Anyway the have rebuilt my wheel and it's just arrived back and I need to know if I'm being picky but the drill holes on the new rim look...
we are rebuilding a 99 RD07. We got the bike nearly back together but somehow lost this piece from the clutch:
Has anybody have that piece and could get me the measurements? A friend of mine could machine it for me.
Its so freaking hard to get parts down here in Afrika. Thanks a lot...
Age, weather and / or chemicals - the brackets I can source or fettle, the front rim may need to be, erm, retired and replaced, haven't checked further if it's merely cosmetic or actually structural. Doesn't look good around the valve though!
I've never met the woman but I did meet Nick last night for a swift pint as he was over in London. And lo and behold he pulls out a T-shirt his wife has embroidered for me.

I'm chuffed to bits. Thanks very much for making the effort. Top present!
Jem, after last year's National, I have been testing a few specials to keep in the manner to which you have become accustomed.
We shall be having quails' eggs for hors d'oeuvres. I particularly likes these ones:D:
