Following on from the excellent opinions on chain maintenance i thought i would chance my luck on further opinions. I used to have an excellent green canvas bike cover for my Sr 500 20 years ago but it appears the choice is more limited these days. Is it oxford or oxford??

After covering my winter bike with a coating of ACF 50 to keep the crud off, I was wondering what cleaning products would be the best to get the winter muck and grime off. Its time to clean and service the bike now that winter appears to be over.

I was emailed a new password due to a 'security breach'. I logged in successfully with it. I changed it to something sensible. A few days later and now my password appears to have been reset to what it originally was (i.e. before the 'security breach'). Just for anyone else who's having problems.

I am in the slow process of a complete rebuild and looking for some help. I found a new harness on eBay and was able to get some used Speedo and Tach assemblies from Hamart. It appears as though the wiring is incompatible as the wiring connectors are both male.... Anyone have any advice?

I've a non working speedo and replaced both the cable and the white plastic gear, as mine was worn, but still no action. Had a look at all the other threads but little about what could be faulty on the clocks end if it is that. The needle appears to be fine that screws into the back of the...

What are peoples thoughts on crunchy first to second gear changes? I read "They all do that" but mine didn't (07 Fi) and it does now. The clutch appears to be working as it should, although it has a fair few miles on it. I read some people prime the lever before 1st to 2nd and yes that works...

Hi, I have a Transalp 650 (UK 07 Plate) and am a bit concerned about what appears to be an oil leak. I have had a look and it appears to be from front face of the front cylinder. Is this something that other owners have experienced? The valve clearances were done about 8k miles ago. Total...

A real quickie! The rubber hose that comes off the fuel pump, is it a drain or does it have a home else where? I'm confused as it appears to be routed upwards.
